University Worship, Assembly and Residence Hall Worships
La Sierra University is a community of faith espousing the traditions of the Seventh-day Adventist Church. Spiritual, cultural and intellectual fellowship is a hallmark of this tradition. Therefore, attendance at university worship, assembly, and residence hall worship is required as a means of drawing the entire campus community together. Students by their enrollment at the University acknowledge these traditions and agree to abide by the attendance policy.

Policy:

  1. All students are required to attend the University Worship programs, which are held each Thursday at 11:00 a.m. through each quarter. Worship programs are planned and coordinated by the Chaplain's Office.
  2. All students are required to attend the University Assembly programs, which are scheduled at intervals on Tuesdays at 11:00 a.m. throughout each quarter. Assembly programs are planned and coordinated by the Office of Academic Affairs.
