From the OISS

Welcome Back!
We would like to welcome all the new international students who joined us for the 2007-2008 school year and welcome back all the returning students. This year promises to be full of new things and happenings at the OISS (Office of International Student Services)!

Among the new things for this year, we are happy to let you know that we now have our own place. YES! the OISS has its own office in the Administration Building, Room 206. Our goal is to expand our office into an international center; but to do that, we will need your help! We want you to feel like the OISS is your home away from home and want you to come hang out with us. You can use our office for meetings, to check your email, and even call your friends and family for free through Skype!

We also have a brand new web site. All of our forms are now on-line, so you can access them from anywhere and even fill them out prior to printing them! We also created an online community, where you can post announcements, pictures, and make friends! Toni Odubela, an international student from Nigeria, will be helping us coordinate events and programs for you. We are here to serve you and help you while you study at LSU. Let us know how we can best help you. Your comments are important to us!
