EAGLES END SEASON LOSING IN THE FINAL SECONDS......
The LSU mens team fought hard but it was
not enough as they dropped
the last game of the season down the stretch
76-73 to West Coast
Baptist College Tuesday night.
Ryan White (20 points & 16 rebounds)
and Andrew Grooms (16 points)
led the Golden Eagles (5-17). West Coast
Baptist (10-11) was led by
Jon Sisson and Tommy Thorogood with 16 points
apiece.

DROP ANOTHER TO CHAPMAN UNIVERSITY......
La Sierra was defeated Saturday night by
the Panthers of Chapman
80-73. CU (16-6) was led by Kyle Wood with
19 points.
Senior
Ryan White paced the Golden Eagles with
20 points and 7
rebounds. La Sierra next game is Tuesday,
February 19th at 7:30pm
against West Coast Baptist College @ Alumni
Pavillion.

Roshawn
Knight (23 points) and Ryan White (20 points)
was not enough as
the Golden Eagles lose a heartbreaker in
the final seconds to Southwestern
College of Phoenix, Arizona. Knight also
led La Sierra (5-15) with 10 rebounds.
The Eagles of Southwestern was led by Daniel
Stanton with 23 points.
LSU next game is Saturday, February 16 @
6pm against Chapman University
at
Alumni Pavillion.

CA.- THE GOLDEN
EAGLES LOSE TO CHAPMAN UNIVERSITY........
The Panthers defeated La Sierra (5-14) on
Saturday night 76-60.
Chapman (14-6) which led by 18 at the half,
was led by Miguel
Bennett's 14 points. Dan Aguilar added 12
points and five assists
and Griffin Ramme had 12 points and nine
rebounds.
Roshawn Knight scored 18 points to pace
La Sierra.
LSU next game is February 8th @ 1pm against
Southwestern College
at
Alumni Pavillion.

SIERRA ..........
The Golden Eagles was defeated by West Coast
Baptist College
last night in Lancaster, California, 75-63.

THE GOLDEN EAGLES 89-56......
LSU was defeated by Chapman University Saturday
night at Hutton Center.
The Panthers (12-6) made 18 three pointers
en route to their fourth consecutive
victory. Griffin Ramme scored 16 points
and Max Piner had 15 points to lead
Chapman in the Division 3 Independents Round
Robin Tournament.
La Sierra (4-12) was led by Ryan White and
Roshawn Knight who scored 17
points each.
La Sierra next game is tommorrow against
UC Santa Cruz at 5pm at Hutton Center.

CA.- LSU WIN FIRST GAME
OF THE CHAPMAN UNIVERSITY D-3 CLASSIC....
The Golden Eagles defeated the University
of Dallas Friday afternoon 65-55.
La Sierra senior forward Ryan White scored
a game high 20 points and had
12 rebounds for a double-double to lead
LSU (4-11) to victory.
White knocked down 4 three-pointers in the
game, as the Golden Eagles led
during the entire second half. Senior Normand
Hall had 17 points and six
rebounds also for LSU which stopped a two
game skid.
University of Dallas(8-9)was led by Jeff
Pritchard with 16 points & 4 rebounds.
La Sierra next game is Saturday, January
19th against Chapman University
@ 7pm in the Chapman's Independents Tournament
at Hutton Center.

VERNE, CA.- UNIVERSITY OF LA VERNE
BEAT LA SIERRA 69-60.............
ULV, defeated the Golden
Eagles Wednesday night at Frantz Athletic
Court
69-60
earning a season sweep over La Sierra. The
Leopards shot 55.2%
from the field to take a 40-24 halftime
lead. La Verne led by as many as 20
points in the 2nd half but LSU threatened
late but got no closer than eight
points.
With the victory, La Verne (6-5) exceeded
their win total of five from
last season. The Golden Eagles record slipped
to (3-11) with Cortez Ward
leading the way with 23 points and 12 rebounds.
The Leopards was led by Juan Canas with
16 points and 9 rebounds.
La Sierra next game is January 18th @ the
Chapman Tournament in Orange,
California.

CA.- THE GOLDEN EAGLES LOSE A HEARTBREAKER.........
La Sierra (3-10) is defeated by Claremont
Mudd-Scripps College 58-56 in
a
heartbreaking loss. LSU was led by Cortez
Ward with 22 points and 4
rebounds.
The Stags (6-5) was led by Chris Blees with
10 points and 9 rebounds.

CA.- THE GOLDEN EAGLES WIN A THRILLIER
AT PURPLE & GOLD POET CLASSIC.......
LSU (3-9) won 69-67 over the Poets
of Whittier College. La Sierra won
on a game winning jumper from Ryan White
with 2 seconds left in the
game. White had 28 points and 8 rebounds.
All-Tournament Selection Cortez
Ward scored 12 points and had 6 rebounds.
Roshawn Knight also scored
12 points. Roy Stubbs also a All-Tournment
Selection had 7 points and 4
rebounds before leaving the game with an
injury.

players scored in double figures

OF REDLANDS 80-79.....
The Golden Eagles pulls off one of the biggest
wins in school history
Wednesday night by defeating the Bulldogs
in the last 10 seconds
of the game. Forward Cortez Ward
hits a big 3 pointer with the clock
running down on a pass from guard Joshua
Crouch. Ward had 9 points
and 4 rebounds for the game.
Sophmore forward Roy Stubbs led LSU
(2-8) with 21 points and 4 rebounds.
Crouch had a solid game with 14 points and
5 rebounds.
Patrick Coffey led University of Redlands
(4-6) with 19 points.
