La Sierra University’s ESL Business Experience program is designed for students and professionals interested in American business and English language acquisition. The course is designed for the serious ESL student who wants to enhance her or his English skills in a business context.

Courses will focus on written and spoken communication in a business setting. They will emphasize business-related English terms and skills. They will help students perform more effectively in a variety of American and international business settings and help students master the language competencies they can use in meetings and presentations, in the context of negotiation, and in other business settings.

In addition to eighteen hours of classroom instruction each week, the program will feature visits to local companies that will acquaint students with American business practices. Students will have access to thousands of journals in full-text and electronic form and to some five million books held in the La Sierra University library or other available collections. They will also be able to use the School of Business and La Sierra University computer labs free of charge.
