The graduate programs offered by the School of Religion fall into the categories of graduate academic and graduate professional. The former classification refers to programs that serve mainly to engage students in advanced academic studies in the field of religion beyond the baccalaureate level and to provide a step towards doctoral level study in the discipline for those who wish to pursue it. The latter classification refers to programs that serve mainly to prepare students for the professional practice of some aspect of the Christian ministry.
