La Sierra University's School of Education provides the following credentials both on campus and online for both public and private education systems.

The basic credential for teaching in Seventh-day Adventist church schools is issued through each Union Education Office in the North American Division. Requirements for the credential may be obtained through the Union Education office for the region in which you reside. State of California

The preliminary credential to teach in the public schools of California is issued by the Commission of Teacher Education in Sacramento, California. La Sierra University School of Education teaches the courses, advises, and provides assistance for assembling final documents for submission to the State.
