Dr. Chang-ho Ji was recognized at Commencement 2007 for the Distinguished Research Award. Dr. Ji is Chair and Professor of the Department of School Psychology and Counseling within the School of Education. His peers in the Faculty Senate selected Dr. Ji for this award. They were impressed with his steady record of publication in respected journals and his many professional presentations at both national and international meetings. “I know of no faculty member at La Sierra who is more disciplined and more productive when it comes to publishing research while at the same time carrying heavy administrative and teaching responsibilities,” states President Larry Geraty. Besides topics on educational policy and practice, Dr. Ji also specializes in Middle East Studies, including the publication of the results of his own archaeological field work in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. Dean Ed Boyatt states that “we are proud of Dr. Ji’s accomplishments in teaching, research, and administration and the credibility this brings to the School of Education.” |
