Master of Arts, Administration and Leadership
Requirements
The Master of Arts degree in Administration and Leadership provides students with the opportunity to plan a personalized program focusing on the needs and goals of the individual student. All programs are designed to assist the student in developing leadership and organizational skills. Requirements for the Seventh-day Adventist Administrator Certificate and approved California Preliminary Administrative Services Credential program requirements may be included in this M.A. program. EDCI 514 Curriculum Planning (3)
EDRS 504 Methods and Material of Research (3)
EDPC 540 Principles of Counseling (3)
EDCI 512 Faith and Learning (3)
Content specialization (21 units minimum)
Electives (selected in consultation with the advisor.)
A total of 45 quarter units with a GPA of 3.0 must be attained for completion.

Educational Specialist, Ed.S., Administration and Leadership
Requirements
To build an area of leadership emphasis, the program will include 45 units in addition to the prerequisites. These units should include the following:

Administration and Leadership Courses (9 units) Twelve units, including EDAD 687 above, are required in School Administration. These units are to be determined in consultation with department advisor and are to become a part of the student's approved program.
Elective Courses (21 units) are to be determined in consultation with department advisor and are to become a part of the student's approved program.
A cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.30 or higher is required for successful completion of this program. A grade of B (3.00) or higher is required for each course that is required for the program.
