Description
A degree in School Administration and Leadership at La Sierra University will focus on the development of a Christian leader. You will take classes that will focus on:
Important legal issues that face school teachers and leaders today
How to understand and recognize good teaching that will help you to be a good mentor to new teachers
Looking at yourself as a leader and how to recognize aspects of yourself that will help you to be a good leader and role model
Financing schools and how to understand difficult issues relative to school funding today
Actual field experiences which will give you the opportunity to practice leadership tasks firsthand at a school site
and other fascinating topics . . .
Prerequisites
The following courses represent the core requirement for all School of Education master's degrees:

Requirements
To build an area of leadership emphasis, the program will include 21 additional units in educational administration and leadership. These units are selected in consultation with a department advisor, and should include the following:

Electives (9 units) are to be determined in consultation with department advisor and are to become a part of the student's approved program.
A total of 45 quarter units with a GPA of 3.0 must be attained for completion.
