On the Fridays, February 1st and 15th the observatory will be hosting its Semi-monthly “Open Houses.” The observatory will be open from 8:00pm to 11:00pm.
We will also be open on Wednesday, February 20th from 5:00pm to 9:00pm for the LUNAR ECLIPSE.
These events are FREE and open to the public.
If the skies are clear, we expect to look at Mars, the Orion Nebula, and the moon.
- Where: The
observatory is located at the base of the mountain behind the
university (see map).
- When: It
is open on the first and third Friday of EVERY month (weather permitting)
from 8:00pm to 11:00pm.
- Schedule of events: 8:00 – 11:00 – We will be viewing the moon and stars.
