Welcome to Pre-Health Professions at La Sierra University. Our office is in Sierra Vista Hall, Room 111. We are a full-service department and are happy to answer all the questions you have about the pre-health professions. We are available for walk-ins but appointments are preferred.

Pre-Nursing Advising: All second year pre-nursing students, and pre-nursing students completing final requirements for matriculation to nursing school will meet with Ms. Claire Wilson, Assistant Director of University Studies.

Allied Health Advisor: Advisor for all one and two year Pre-Allied Health Programs is Jennifer Hernandez, Assoc. Director for the Center for Student Academic Success.

The 2014 AMCAS application is now scheduled to open on May 8 at 9:30 a.m. ET. This postponement does not affect the remainder of the AMCAS timeline. They still plan to begin accepting application submissions on June 4, and to begin transmitting application data to medical schools on June 28.

Dr. Sarah Roddy, Associate Dean of Admissions, Loma Linda University School of Medicine, will be on our campus for consultations on May 14-16. For more information click HERE.

PRE-HEALTH FAIR MAY 2, 2013.

The office of Pre-Health Professions will be hosting our annual Pre-Health Fair. It will be on Thursday May 2, 2013 from 12-1:30pm on the Founders Green. Please contact prehealth@lasierra.edu for information about our guests.
