La Sierra University's new season of drama kicks off with "Five First Dates: An Evening of Romantic Comedies" directed by Dahlie Conferido. Four playwrights take their audience through the funny and foreboding world of dating. It is an uncomfortably "Small World" for Tracey Scott Wilson’s singles. David Ives demonstrates how to date under a deadline in "Time Flies" and teaches the art of the (not so) perfect pick-up line in "Sure Thing." Mary Miller’s "Ferris Wheel" leaves two strangers with very lasting impressions. And Susan Sandler reminds us that "The Find" is often better than what we were looking for in the first place.
