$1,000 Unboxing Scholarship

Congratulations on your acceptance to La Sierra University, a special surprise is on it's way to your house! To celebrate, and give you a chance to earn extra scholarship support, we created the $1,000 La Sierra Unboxing Scholarship.

Accepted students are invited to create a fun, creative and engaging unboxing video featuring their La Sierra admissions box. We want to see your excitement, your personality and what becoming a Golden Eagle means to you!

How to Enter

1. Create a short unboxing video of yourself opening the La Sierra admissions box. We love creativity, humor and seeing your honest reaction. 

2. Post your video on Instagram, TikTok, or YouTube.

3. Tag La Sierra University in your post.

4. Use at least two of the following hashtags when you post your video.

5. Make sure your social media account is public so we can see your video.

6. (Optional) If you have any questions before you submit your video, you can email [email protected]. 

Scholarship Details

• Only one video per accepted student will be considered. You are allowed to submit more than one video, but only one video per student will be moved on to the final round of voting.  

• The La Sierra marketing team will vote on the final winner. Announced before the first day of school. 

• Videos will be reviewed based on creativity, humor, authenticity, reaction, view count, engagement and school spirit.

• One student will be selected to receive a $1,000 scholarship applied toward their tuition at La Sierra University. 

• This scholarship is open to students accepted and admitted to La Sierra University only.
