Special guests actress Hattie Winston and musician Jake Simpson shared a question and answer time with audience discussing the craft of performing and acting at the December 5 La Sierra University fund raising event held at Riverside’s Mission Inn.

Riverside, Ca – The La Sierra University Advancement Department held an event December 5 in the Mission Inn, Riverside, Ca., to raise funds for the Edna Mae Loveless Scholarship. La Sierra University students performed “The Importance of Being Earnest” under the direction of Aarika Chilson, 2004 LSU graduate. Over 75 people attended the event.

Special guests who discussed the craft of acting during the event were: Hattie Winston, acclaimed actress, producer, director, Broadway veteran, and philanthropist; and Jake Simpson, Star Search (adult singer category) – winner not once, but twice. Simpson just returned from Boston, where he starred in the musical version of The Who’s Tommy.
