Freida Mock, Academy and Emmy Award-winning Filmmaker, addressed two La Sierra University audiences. She spoke as a guest lecturer to about 80 students in an afternoon class on the “steps to making a documentary, funded versus independent,” says Winona Howe, Ph.D., Chair of the English and Communication Department. “We also had a really nice evening event with about 80 people that was more general. She was terrific with a lot of charisma. She was down to earth and low key and related to the students.
