Nancy Lamoreaux, of the Seventh-day Adventist North American Division, spoke on IT vs. Management at the Seventh-day Adventist (SDA) MIS Conference held at La Sierra University. The conference was held November 3, 2003 with 28 individuals attending. The meetings topics included Virtual Storage, IT vs. Management, General Conference Purchasing Agreements, and Disaster Recovery. MIS directors from around the United States attended the conference. The SDA MIS Conference happens every three to four years according to this meeting coordinator, Sam Young, Director of Computer Information Systems at La Sierra University. “The day was filled with discussion, worship, and time for a question and answers.”
