Riverside, CA –This spring La Sierra University has several upcoming student recitals.

Emily Beltz, La Sierra senior music education major, and Ramona Rivera, senior flute performance and music major, will perform a recital Saturday, May 10 at 7:45 pm. Both students are sopranos and will perform works by Mozart, Satie, Duparc, Fauré, Schumann, Gounod, Schubert, Strauss, Menotti, Bernstein, Donizetti, and Rossini. The concert is free and open to the public.

A La Sierra University Saxophone Quartet will give a concert Sunday, May 11, at 3:00 pm. The Quartet consists of University students Juan Diaz, senior music major, Oscar Maldonado, junior saxophone performance and music education majors, Elvin Tolentino, freshman pre-medicine major, and Debra Brooks, junior music major. This concert is free and open to the public.

Another concert will also take Sunday, May 11 at 7:30 pm. The featured artist will be Brenda Gutiérrez, La Sierra University senior vocal performance major. She will perform works by Bach, Albéniz, Lecuona, Rachmaninoff and Ravel. This concert is free and open to the public.

The concerts will take place in Hole Memorial Auditorium at La Sierra University, 4700 Pierce Street, Riverside.
