Sandy
“Spin” Slade (standing center), one of the best basketball
handlers in the world, held a second basketball camp at La Sierra
University’s Alumni Pavilion, Aug. 21 and 22. Over 46 students
attended. La Sierra’s coach, Willie Neal, helped coordinated
the camps. Slade has dedicated herself to teaching people about
basketball at an even broader level. Her three publications Off
the Rim, The Art of Handling the Rock, and Teaching Basketball FUNdamentals
are all widely accepted in the athletic world. |
