About the Department
The department of Mathematics and Computer Science provides a curriculum in Computer Science that prepares you for graduate study, and a career in the computing industry. You will learn from professors who do computing research, and teach small-sized classes. Smaller classes mean that you will have more focused time and direct access to your professors.
The Mathematics and Computer Science department is located in the Thaine B. Price Science Complex. As a student, you have access to state of the art classrooms, computer labs, and research facilities equipped with the latest computer equipment.

The department offers Bachelor of Science degrees in Computer Science, and Information Systems. A minor in Computer Science is available. Our curriculum conforms to the ACM/IEEE curriculum standards for computer science.
