Riverside, Calif., January, 2001-- Each year, MINISTRY magazine conducts a seminar on preaching for Christian pastors of all denominations. Delivered live via satellite, this year's event will originate from the campus of Oakwood College. (Such a seminar was uplinked from the La Sierra University Church two years ago.) Featured presenters this year include Marguerite Shuster (Fuller Theological Seminary), Calvin Miller (Beeson Divinity School), Ron Smith (MESSAGE magazine), and Morris Venden.

The School of Religion and the Southeastern California Conference of SDAs are jointly sponsoring the local downlink, to be viewed in the conference room of the SECC headquarters building, from 10:00 to 1:30 Pacific time on April 3.

It is anticipated that 40 or more pastors of various denominations will attend. Light luncheons will be provided for registered attendees. The event is open to any who wish to arrange to attend. This will be the second day of classes in the spring quarter; faculty are encouraged to work with ministerial students to enable them to avail of this opportunity.
