The following 235 bird species have been recorded on the campus and associated lands of La Sierra University. Ten of these were recorded during the 1940s and are not supported with documentation. Eight species are non-native to this area. In addition, multiple species of parrot have been recorded on campus, including a Sulphur-crested Cockatoo that visited frequently between 1980 and 1992.
