Projects and Experience
Mr.
Richards' musical experience has included performances in the
United States, Canada, Europe and East Africa. His teaching
has been recognized in Who's Who of American Teachers and by
California State University, San Diego. Past appointments include
artistic director and conductor of the Canto Bello Master Chorale,
director of choral activities for the Milwaukee High School
of the Arts and Claremont High School. Mr. Richards received
a graduate fellowship and a teaching assistant award from UCLA,
studying with Donald Neuen. His undergraduate studies include
a degree in business administration from La Sierra University,
piano and organ studies in England at Newbold College and citations
from the Royal School of Music. He has conducted opera, musical
theater, choral masterworks, and has recorded with the United
States Air Force Golden Band of the West.
Recent
Presentations
Mr. Richards recently presented Mendelssohn's Elijah with the La Sierra University
Chamber Singers and University Chorale, accompanied by the La Sierra University
Sinfonia. |
