Library Mission Statement

The mission of the Library is to enhance the quality of the academic experience available at La Sierra University by supporting the teaching, learning and research activities of the faculty and students.

To fulfill this purpose the Library develops and maintains relevant collections of books, journals, electronic sources, audiovisual, and archival materials, and provides a wide range of information services to make these accessible and useful to the teaching and research activities carried on at the University. The library mission is carried out by a library staff committed to service and skilled in the application of appropriate information management practices and technologies.
