Frequently Asked Questions

Q: What time does the library open/close?

Check our schedule.

Q: Does the library have this book/journal?

Check the online catalog. Note that we do not usually have textbooks (we have the books that go beyond the textbooks).

Q: What if the library doesn't have it?

We can usually get it from another library. Check out our interlibrary loan forms.

Q: My professor said something was on reserve. Where is it?

At the circulation desk, on your left as you enter the library. You can check the reserve listing online to see if we have it yet.

Q: What's the password for off-campus journal access?

Your La Sierra e-mail username and password. You will have to use our off-campus access page to log in.

Q: How do I check out a book?

Take the book to the circulation desk, right by the entrance to the library. You will need your La Sierra ID card to check something out. See our circulation policies for more information.
