What is MICOL?
MICOL is THE campus computer lab on campus. It consists of 24 Windows machines, and 20 Mac machines on the lower lab and another 24 machines on the upper "Smart Lab"
What does MICOL stand for?
MIcro COmputer Lab.
Who is allowed to use the lab?
This lab is for student and classroom general use. Students may be asked to move for classes that come in to use the PC, Mac, or "Smart" lab.
Can I print or copy?
MICOL has a black and white copier, printer, scanner and a color printer / scanner available for use by all students, faculty, and staff. Your student ID card is loaded each quarter with $7.00 of your Technology Fee to help pay for your copies and printing needs. The black and white pages costs Seven (7) cents per page and the color pages costs ten (10) cents per page. Scanning is free. If your $7.00 technology fee is exhausted, you can add money to the card. You can also choose to pay cash with the assistance of our MICOL student workers. Cash price for any printing is ten (10) cents a page
Can I bring my food, drink, or water into MICOL?
Food and drinks are allowed in the front areas only of the MICOL lab. Please do not take food or drinks to the computer stations. The potential damage to computers is too great and the cost too high to allow food and drinks near the computers. We appreciate your understanding. The front tables are there for your convenience to eat, drink or study while in MICOL.
