La Sierra University may display employee and departmental email addresses at various locations throughout the web site. These addresses are displayed solely for informational and correspondence purposes. The email addresses are made available for the use of students, employees, liaisons conducting business directly with and/or on behalf of the University, parents of past, current and prospective students, alumni, donors, and any and all other constituent entities of La Sierra University.

Presentation of these email addresses on the La Sierra University web site does not warrant, suggest, or condone random, mechanical, electronic, or any other type of unsolicited disbursement of email of any type. Spamming--the sending of advertisements, classifieds, religious propaganda, pornographic links, or any other type of UNSOLICITED email--is deemed unacceptable and in abuse of acceptable use terms of most providers of email accounts accessible on the internet, including but not limited to La Sierra University.

Additionally, no parties may in any way COPY OR STORE email addresses from the La Sierra web site to any other web site, mail server list, database, listserv or any other type of storage or holding device, electronic or otherwise. No parties may disburse, distribute, or sell any La Sierra email addresses without the express written permission of/from each and every user/owner whose email address may appear or be collected for any such purpose.

Email addresses falling under the lasierra.edu domain, as being maintained, supported and/or managed by, and therefore property of La Sierra University, may not be used for unsolicited surveys, contests, pyramid schemes, chain letters, junk email, spamming or any duplicative or unsolicited messages (commercial or otherwise). Accounts in violation of these terms may be subject to suspension, or termination and deletion with or without notice, at the sole discretion of the system administrator.
