The challenging summer course focuses on the capabilities of the students, introduces individual comprehension techniques, and immerses the students into a comfortable English-speaker-only environment so they can practice what they’ve learned. Also an excellent brush-up course for those who already know English but have partially forgotten or who still feel uncomfortable speaking the language, the Intensive English Program pinpoints problem areas in reading, writing and speaking, working at the student’s pace to resolve comprehension issues. The Intensive English Program is optimal for the serious ESL students who wish to increase TOEFL scores in order to enroll in regular American university courses.
