  Theater Sports:  Whose Verb Is It Anyway?

Synopsis:  Guest artist Paul Wickline leads two Improv teams in an unplanned evening of who knows what will happen next?  High adventure, true love, laughter, tears, treachery, nobility, and . . . ummm . . . more verbs derived from exciting adjectives? 
Auditions:  September 28 & 29
Performance:  October 18 @ 8 p.m.


“The Crucible”

Directed by Marilynn Loveless
Miller’s award-winning play is an exciting drama about the Puritan purge of witchcraft in old Salem which serves as both a gripping historical play and a timely parable of our contemporary society. 
Auditions:  September 28 @ 1 p.m. & 29 @ 6 p.m.
Dress rehearsal: December 2
Performances:  December 3, 4(SALSU event), 6, 7 @ 8 p.m.


The 2nd Annual Festival of One-Acts

A festival of student-directed one-act plays.
Synopsis:  In the 2nd Annual Festival of One-Acts, student talent is showcased in an evening of one-act plays featuring student directors and actors.  Each director is limited to one 20-minute act with a small cast, simple set and minimal props. 
Auditions:  January 11 @ 1 p.m. & January 12 @ 6 p.m.
Dress rehearsal:  March 3
Performances:  March 4, 5(SALSU event) 7 & 8 @ 8 p.m.


“Much Ado About Nothing”

Directed by Marilynn Loveless
Claudio loves Hero and they are about to get married.  To pass the time they conspire to set a “lover’s trap” for Benedick and Beatrice who claim to hate each other.  Meanwhile the evil Don John sets a “death trap” for Hero.  Will Beatrice and Benedick admit their love when they realize they’ve been tricked?  Will Claudio realize he’s been duped in time to save Hero?   In the end will it all turn out to be “much ado about nothing?”
Auditions:  January 11 @ 1 p.m. & January 12 @ 6 p.m.
Dress rehearsal:  May 12
Performances:  May 13, 14 (SALSU event), 16 17 @ 8 p.m.


The 2nd Annual Festival of Original Student Works:  Stage & Screen

Students perform a wide variety of selections, from comedy to drama to dramedy.  The 2nd annual Festival features—for the second time in living memory—the world premiere of original student work.
Auditions: April 5 @ 1 p.m. and April 6 @ 6 p.m.
Dress rehearsal: May 28
Performances:  May 30 & 31 @ 8 p.m.
