Missionaries
Requirements
If you are applying to be a volunteer and want to serve in
a position for a term of one year or longer, you must have
the following criteria:
- Be at least 18 years old (or get approval from the Missions director).
- Have completed at least one year of college by the beginning date of service Maintain at GPA of 2.5 or higher.
- Can not be on Citizenship Probation with Student Life.
- Needs to have completed any and all Pre-Foundational course requirements.
- Have a willing and responsible attitude.
- Most important…have a commitment to God and serving others.
Missionary Road Map
Becoming a Student Missionary is a two step process. First you must be cleared by the University. Once that is complete you will apply to the organization that you want to serve with. Following this simple road map will get you to your destination.
Step 1: Campus Clearance Checklist
Begin by downloading the appropriate checklist form below which will walk you through the application process.
Application Packet
Next, print and complete the following forms and submit them to the Missions office.
- Missions Interest Form
- Reference Letter
- Counseling Center Clearance
- Clearance Form (Student Life, Admissions, Student Financial Services)
- Sample Resume
- Consent Form for Release of Confidential Information
Once you have been cleared by the University, you must apply to be a student missionary with one of the organizations below by completing the forms.
