La Sierra University Missions

Mission Statement: To inspire, prepare and send willing individuals of this and other communities out into the world to serve as Missionaries to our brothers and sisters in this and countries abroad, preparing them for Jesus' soon return.

Vision: The Missions Department enables individuals to step out of their comfort zone and experience the unknown. As a missionary, individuals obtain knowledge that cannot be learned in the classroom or at home. It is our vision and prayer that time dedicated in serving will not only inspire individuals to delve deeper into their desire to help others, but ignite a deep passion for spreading the word of God to all nations...preparing them for His soon return.

Purpose: The purpose of the Missions Department of La Sierra Unviersity is to further the work of Christ here on earth by spreading God's love through the service of Missionaries.

Missions is a division of the office of Spiritual Life, which is a part of the office of Student Life at La Sierra University.
