Field Instructor's Dinner, 2006

Social work professionals who served as field instructors in the academic year 2005-6 were honored at a dinner on campus by their student interns, and the social work faculty. Mr. Roberto Reid, Director of Social Work at Loma Linda University Medical Center, used personal stories to illustrate the impact of Social Work core skills on a person's life.

2006 Social Work Seniors' Research Presentation

On March 7, 2006 at the Department Assembly meeting, three senior social work students, Kenneth Sandoval, Marni McClain, and Allison Maxwell, presented their research outcomes to social work majors and guests who attended the meeting. The students' research projects were completed as a partial requirement for the SOWK 349, Generalist Social Work Research Method course.
