| An RA
is a peer-level academic advisor, informal counselor,
program facilitator, disciplinarian, and friend to the
residents. RAs are directly responsible for some programming,
advising, and governing for their “community.”
A community is a floor or wing under the guidance of
the RA. However, RAs are also responsible to the entire
residential complex.
