Room/Damage Deposit
Before you check into your hall, you will need to send in your $100.00 room deposit. This deposit will remain in the university as long as you are a residence hall student. It can be used to repair room damage which goes beyond normal use.

Move-in Date
The move-in day is the Sunday before classes begin for returning students and the Firday before Parent/Freshmen orientation for new students. Generally speaking, the residence halls won't be opened before this date. Any variation or exception must be prearranged. Room charges automatically begin when cheked into a room. If you are flying from a distant place, please fly in to Ontario Airport (ONT) in Ontario, California. Check travel information.

Room Condition Inventory (RCI) form
Residents are responsible for the condition of their rooms. Your RA will check you into your room and note, along with you, all of the furniture and any distinguishable marks in the room. When you check out of your room, the condition will be compared to the original RCI form. After your room is cleaned and your belongings are removed, both you and the RA will examine the condition of your room. Any damages not noted on the original RCI form will be noted on the check-out portion of the RCI form.  Charges will be deducted from your room/dagamge depositaccordingly. It is important that you note all damages on the RCI.

Special Note
If damage occurs or furniture is missing from a room and a resident does not take responsibility for the situation, all residents of that room will share the cost of the damages. In addition, any damages noted by the deans and/or maintenance during thier inspection of the room after move-out will be deducted from your deposit.

Keys
Room keys are assigned upon arrival at the residence halls. Your keys are security for you and other residents in the halls. Remember to lock your door and carry your keys at all times!

Guide to Residential Life
It is your responsiblility to know all the information included in the Guide to Residential Life. This Guide contains vital information which will help you understand living in our residence halls. Please read all the printed materials given to you and keep for future reference.

First Community Meeting
Within the first weeks of school your RA will announce the day and time for a wing/building/floor meeting. It is extremely important for you to attend, as this is where the RA will go over information you need to know (such as policies, regulations, announcements, etc.). Worship attendance credit will be given for this meeting.
