Campus Update

Modern Languages Seeks International Students Help
The Dept. of Modern Languages is organizing "Around the World with
Languages," an international assembly to be held at the La Sierra University
Church at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, April 11. Please contact Dr. Morales at
785-2120 or lmorales@lasierra.edu, if you would be willing to participate
in a parade of nations with your country's costume and say a few words in your native language.

Insurance Premium Increase and Insurance Cards
Due to the continuous increase of medical care costs in the USA, HTH Worldwide increased our intenrational insurance premium to $255/quarter. REMEMBER TO PRINT YOUR NEW INSURANCE CARDS before you are at the doctor's office! To learn how to print your own card through the internet, please click here. Elections

SALSU Elections

The Student Association of La Sierra University (SALSU) is currently looking for students who would like to run for student government. Elections will be February 21st. Application forms are already available at the Office of Student Activities (OSA) located next to the Bookstore.

Being part of the student leadership team not only provides students with excellent leadership experience, but also allows students to make a change in their lives and the lives of their peers.

The deadline to turn in applications is February 2 at noon if you are interested in running for office.

SALSU Winter Banquet will take place on Sunday, January 29th, from 6 to 10pm in Orange County. If you are interested in attending, please contact SALSU at x2005 or purchase your tickets at the cafeteria during lunch or dinner time. Tickets are $25-30.
