The site will be available noon October 5, 2005 through noon December 4, 2005.

Optional Practical Training
If you are planning on finishing your studies in December and want to receive your one year of Optional Practical Training, you must apply as soon as possible. Current turn around time for OPT applications is about 5 months, though after 90 days of your application you could get your temporary work permit. To apply or for more information, please contact Natan in OISS.

Full-time Registration
Our office will start putting registration holds on those students who did not register for full-time classes. Remember: if you are an undergraduate student, you must take at least 12 units per quarter; if you are a graduate student, you must take at least 8 units. If you have not registered for the minimum, please contact Natan or Esther in OISS as soon as possible in order for us to stop the computer from reporting your units to SEVIS automatically. Failing to be registered full-time or make arrangements will put you as "out-of-status," something you really, really do not want to be in.
