Welcome to La Sierra University. We are happy that you decided to join our school and we look forward to getting to you know better and have you as part of our international family at LSU.

Pre-arrival

Here's a few things you might want to do BEFORE coming to La Sierra, if you haven't done so already.

  • Reserve housing if you will be living in the dormitories. You can make a dorm room application through the Residential Life web site.

  • Request an airport pick up, if needed. You'll need your flight information to contact the shuttle company. NOTE: there is a fee for this service.

  • Register for one of the International Student Orientations here.

 

Orientation/Welcome Party

During the Fall, Winter, and Spring quarter, there's usually a required in-depth orientation for all international students. The orientation dates are as follows:

Register for one of the International Student Orientations here.

Orientation/Check-in

We require all new international students to coming to La Sierra to report to the Orientatoin or our office. When you come to the Orientation or to our Office, please bring with you the following documents:

  • Your passport with your visa
  • Your stamped I-20 form
  • Your I-94 card (small white card, usually given on the plane and stamped by the immigration officer)
