First-time Freshmen: Complete the undergraduate
application requirements for admission. Request an official
high school transcript including ACT or SAT scores. Pay $30.00
application fee. GED scores should be provided if completed.
First-time Transfer Students: Complete the undergraduate
application requirements for admission. Request official transcripts
from high school and all colleges attended. Pay $30.00 application
fee.
Returning Students: Complete readmission update
form or application as appropriate and provide transcripts from
any colleges attended since last LSU enrollment.
Undergraduate Special Students: Examples:
1) High school student seeking college coursework; 2) Visiting
student from another college; 3) Degree holder seeking additional
undergraduate courses. Complete application forms and consult
the Office of Admissions for additional requirements. Pay $30.00
application fee.
Second Bachelor's Degree Applicants: Complete
undergraduate
application for second degree requirements. Provide official
transcripts if not LSU graduate. Pay $30.00 fee if not former
LSU student.

Placement testing is required of students who are:
First time Freshmen
(Also, freshmen must submit ACT or SAT scores. If you have not taken the
ACT/SAT, visit www.act.org/ to find dates,
locations, and registration info for the national ACT or during the summer call
the LSU Learning Support & Testing Center to take a residual ACT on campus. Another
option is to visit www.collegeboard.com/ and
look for info on the SAT.)
Transfer students who have not taken college level
English and Mathematics
International students who have a TOEFL
score of 550 or higher refer to criteria listed above. TOEFL
scores below 550 must see an academic advisor.

RESIDENCE
HALL, UNIVERSITY APARTMENTS, MEAL PLAN
Any Interested Student
RESIDENCE HALLS: If you are under 22
and not living with a parent or legal guardian, you are required
to live in the Residence Hall. You must complete the Housing License
form. You must also complete the meal contract at the Residence
Hall. Contact Residence Life for more information at (951) 785-2050.
UNIVERSITY APARTMENTS: If you are 22 or older you
may apply for university housing by calling (951) 785-2511.
MEAL PLAN: Dining at the Commons. Students
will sign a meal contract when they move into the residence hall.
Non-residence hall students may purchase meal blocks at the Bursar's
office (951) 785-2152.
ACADEMIC

First Time Freshmen and Transfer students must be advised. Make
an appointment with the general advising office.
FINANCIAL
SERVICES - Student Financial Services Office, Administration Bldg., Room

Any interested students:
- Complete a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)**
yearly online at: www.fafsa.ed.gov.**Beginning
January 1 of the previous school year.
- Receive and check your Student Aid Report (SAR) for accuracy.
for corrections assistance call Student Financial Services Office.
- If needed, provide verification worksheets, parent's and
student's IRS forms 1040, 1040A or 1040EZ to the Student Financial
Services Office.
- Receive and review financial aid award letter from the Student
Financial Services Office.
- If receiving a Perkins loan, sign and return promissory note
with borrower's information sheet to the Bursar's Office.
- If awarded Federal Work-Study or an Academic Performance
Scholarship, check the job advertisements on the board in front
of the Human Resource Office.
- New Stafford loan borrower at LSU, must complete the Entrance
Interview loan counseling form and Master Promissory Note either
online at www.lasierra.edu/sfs or at the Student Financial Services
office.
- If parents are borrowing a PLUS Loan they must complete
a Parent Authorization form and the PLUS Promissory
Note each year.
- Notify the Student Financial Services Office of scholarships,
assistant-ships, or other loans you will be receiving.
- If you have any questions or need to ensure enrollment on
the first day of classes, contact a Student Financial Services
counselor.
- You must attend classes regularly and meet the requirements
of the Financial Aid Satisfactory Academic Progress Policy to
receive financial aid.
- Scholarships: Review LSU scholarships Scholarship applications
available at the Student Financial Services office.
REGISTRAR

LSU students may register on the WEB if the following conditions
exist:
- Student is admitted to La Sierra University (ID and web PIN
received with acceptance letter)
- Clear all HOLDS
- Received advisor approval of class schedule (undergraduate
programs only), and Registration PIN for the quarter term.
- Go online to register, confirm and reserve your classes.
The Procedure for WEB registration is as follows:
- Click
Sign
On
(http://www.lasierra.edu/banner/self_service/homepage.htm)
- Login: ID # and 6 digit Web PIN (Birth Month [2 digits] +
Day of Birth [2 digits] + last two digits of Birth Year).
(i.e., if your birth date is February 10, 1980 your PIN
is 021080)
- Click on Students then click Register for
Classes Click Select Term or Add/Drop classes.
- Click Submit Term, then enter your 5-digit
Registration PIN (received from your advisor).
- Enter the CRN numbers for your desired classes then click
Submit Changes button.
- Click on Menu.
- Click Student Schedule by Day & Time and/or Student
Detail Schedule to view your schedule, verify all courses,
units, sections, days and times. If you have variable unit courses
(e.g. 2-4 units) click on Change Class Options
to select approved number of units.
- Now you MUST confirm registration to retain your reserved
classes. Click Confirmation of Registration
and follow instructions.
CONFIRM
YOUR REGISTRATION

Online Database
- Click CONFIRMATION REGISTRATION to confirm your reserved classes.
Complete the three questions and click the CONFIRM button.
Failure to confirm by midnight of the day you reserve your
classes will result in your being withdrawn from classes.
- Late Registration begins on the first day of classes at 12:00
a.m. Confirmation of Registration must be received by Student
Financial Services on the same day or your classes will be dropped.
- Make payment arrangements with Student Financial Services.
- Failure to maintain your account status will result in a
HOLD that will not allow you to register for the next term.
- You are responsible for the accuracy of your registration.
- Confirm registration and pay fees. Fees may be paid by cash,
check, or major credit card.
- All students must complete the Confirmation of Registration
by midnight of the day classes are reserved or they will be
withdrawn from classes.
- Students whose expected aid will not pay all of their University
charges will need to commit to a payment plan, and make their
payment(s) by the first of the month.
- To pay by phone with a major credit card, please call (951)
785-2152 and provide your credit card number, expiration date
of the card, with an ID or Social Security number.
- To pay by check mail it to the Bursar Office, 4500 Riverwalk
Parkway, Riverside, CA 92515. To avoid late charges, please
mail on time to be received in the Bursar Office before the
payment deadline.
- To pay in person, assistance will be given by a cashier in
the Bursar Office.
- Bills for tuition and fees will be mailed to current students
only. You may call the Bursar Office at (951) 785-2152 for additional
information.

Transfer Students
LSU student Identification Card. Have your ID card made at the
Student Life office anytime after you have registered. The ID
Card will allow you to access many activities and services on
campus. Students may also use their ID for meals at the Commons
and Eagle's Nest. A brochure explaining all features is provided
in the orientation pack or you may request a copy at the Student
Life office.

Parking Permits
All students (including part-time) who intend to park a motor
vehicle on the main campus are required to obtain a parking
permit. PARKING PERMITS MUST BE PROPERLY DISPLAYED. Parking
permit fees are included in tuition for full-time students.
All visitors are requested to stop at the Department of Security
to obtain a visitor's parking permit at no additional charge.
