Message from President Randal Wisbey

La Sierra University

Faculty, Administration and Staff

Dear Colleagues:
La Sierra University has a vital interest in the prevention of losses due to accidents. This is necessary because it involves the safety and the well being of all faculty, administration, staff, students and the public that we serve. Injuries and accidents can be prevented.

The creation and maintenance of a safe working environment requires the interest, cooperation, and dedication of everyone in our organization. A safe work environment exists only when we all observe safety procedures as an integral part of all that we do.

It is our policy that all levels of management will make accident and loss prevention a priority concern. Safety ranks right along with the efficient quality service for our faculty, staff and students.

We acknowledge the University’s obligation to provide a workplace that is free of recognized hazards that are likely to cause death or serious physical injuries. The responsibility for the safe operation of each department rests with the supervisor in charge of that area.

It is the responsibility of each of us to accept and comply with all safety and health standards and work rules, regulations, and instructions that are applicable to his/her own actions and conduct.

Sincerely,

Randal Wisbey
President
