Adopt-A-High School Program

We are visiting local high schools and telling the students about our research. By sharing our excitement with them we hope to interest these younger students in the possibility that they too can do research. On January 17, 1997 we will be visiting La Sierra High School accompanied by two of our biology professors, Dr. Lee Grismer and Dr. Jeffrey Tosk. Several of us work on research projects in their labs. We will be describing the results of our research in terms that are understandable by high school students. We are arranging to make similar presentations at several other school as well.
