Professional Interests:
Jon’s research interests include nonlinear functional analysis, convex analysis and the geometry of Banach spaces. In particular, he is interested in how the structure of a Banach space is reflected through the functions, and in particular, convex functions defined on the particular space.

Activities:
Jon has collaborated with mathematicians from various places including Australia, the Czech Republic, Spain and even North America. This has provided opportunities for him to travel and visit interesting places he probably would not have otherwise seen. Jon also enjoys teaching various classes, especially calculus. When he is not working, Jon enjoys quiet time at home with his wife and two dogs.
