RONG-HUEY LIU
Taiwanese American Oboist/English Hornist, Rong-Huey Liu, received Doctor of Musical Arts Degree with Pi Kappa Lambda from USC and bachelor and master degrees from the Manhattan School of Music. Her main teachers included Rong-Yi Liu, Joseph Robinson and David Weiss. As an experienced solo recitalist and chamber musician, Rong-Huey also serves as the principal oboist for the Asia America Symphony, Riverside County Philharmonic, California Chamber Orchestra, and substitute oboist/English Hornist for Fresno Philharmonic, Pasadena Symphony/Pops, Reno Chamber Orchestra, Reno Philharmonic, Santa Barbara Symphony and San Diego Symphony. Rong-Huey can be heard on recordings with Josh Groban, David Benoit, Bright Eyes, Ron Isley, to name a few. Rong-Huey is on faculty at the Riverside Community College and the La Sierra University.
