La Sierra University (LSU) is committed to ensuring equal educational opportunities to people with disabilities. The following guidelines have been developed to assist students requesting academic accommodations for a disability. Accommodations give a student an opportunity to demonstrate subject mastery without discriminatory restrictions. Examples of possible accommodations include extra examination time, tape recorded or oral examinations, a reader for an examination, formal note taker, distraction-reduced room for exams, textbooks on tape/CD, enlarged handouts/worksheets/tests and sign interpreters.

The Office of Disability Services is located on the lower level of La Sierra Hall in the Learning Support & Testing Center, Room 100B. Tammy R. Tucker, Director, is available to assist you with your learning needs. You may stop in the office, fax or phone us at (951) 785-2450, or send e-mail to ability@lasierra.edu.
