Donor Appreciation Brunch

By invitation only, the Donor Appreciation Brunch is a thank you to all of those people who showed their support of LSU by giving a generous gift the Development Department sponsors a brunch at the newly renovated Alumni Center.  Donors are invited to bring guests and enjoy a leisurely meal with President Lawrence T. Geraty.  It is a good time for our donors to discuss their desires for LSU and learn first-hand about the happenings on campus.

Our Alumni Center is opened up to members of the community so that President Randal R. Wisbey, can host a new year's reception.  It is a time to welcome members of the Riverside community to our campus and offer them a chance to mingle with faculty and administration. 

Awards Assembly and Luncheon

Our students are given a chance to celebrate their achievement at an annual Awards Assembly.  There is a luncheon following for all presenters of awards so the donors are able to mingle with each other as well as faculty and staff. After extensive thought and careful consideration, as many as 140 students are chosen to receive a total of almost $275,000 in grants, awards and scholarships.
