Financial Aid
Division of Continuing Studies students qualify for financial aid.
Obtaining financial aid can take as much as 4-5 weeks so please
plan ahead; however do not be hesitant to apply for admission and
financial aid in the weeks just before a term starts.
The amount of financial aid is determined by your personal financial
situation and the number of units taken: 12 units or more, full-time;
9-11 units, 3/4-time; 6-8 units, 1/2-time. No financial aid is available
for students registered for fewer than 6 units (less than 1/2 time).
To receive financial aid a student must do the following:
- Apply for University Admission
- Submit all financial aid paperwork, availble in the University's
Student Financial Services office (951) 785-2175.
Note: Financial aid funds are applied to a student's account only
after the student is accepted into a degree program. |
