MANHANDLES THE GOLDEN EAGLES.......
La
Sierra University (0-2) was defeated Monday
night by Concordia University 108-47 at
CU
Arena. LSU next game will be this weekend
playing in the Oxy/Cal Tech Classic, November
21-22.
The game on Friday will be at 3 pm agianst
NCAA D-3 foe Occidental College.
Saturday's
game will be at 7 pm against another NCAA
D-3 team and tournament host, Cal
Tech.

CA.- THE GOLDEN EAGLES LOSES
SEASON OPENER AT HOME.......
La
Sierra University (0-1) was defeated Saturday
night at Alumni Pavilion by the University
of Redlands,
66-31. The Bulldogs was led by reserve Kathy
Coyne and Pashay Sorensen with nine points
and six rebounds apiece , and freshmen star
Courtney Carroll with 8 points.
LSU
was led by Angelica Castrejon with 9 points,3
rebounds and 4 steals.
North
Dakota State transfer, 6' 4 post Ashton
Marez was held to 7 points.
The
Golden Eagles next game is Monday, November
17th against Concordia University in Irvine,
California at 7:30 pm.

SEASON PREVIEW
Tony
McCabe enters his first year as head coach
of the program after a two year stint as
an assistant
coach
and inherits a team that has some talent
on it, thanks in large part to a pair of
new faces.
Ashton
Marez is a 6' 4 transfer from North Dakota
State and guard Nerida Peever spent time
on the Junior Australian National Team.
Sophmore
guard and captian, Audrey Ramos is the only
returning starter. She shot more than 50%
from
the
three point range and her sister Laura Ramos
from CIF powerhouse Etiwanda High will be
joining her
at
a guard spot as a incoming freshmen.
JC
transfer and former LSU player, Angelica
Castrejon returns to help us get to NCAA
post season.
This
will be a tough season with seven walk on
players due to some key losses from last
year squad
as
point guard Sarah Ortega (Santa Barbara
CC), Kathy Trujillo (Fullerton CC), Shelia
Anyona ( Cal
State
San Berrnardino) and 6' 1 post Milika Jones(
grade issues) has moved on.
