FROM LSU........
La Sierra dropped both ends of a doubleheader
against the Bruins
of Bethany University 15-4 and 11-1.
In the first game, LSU Daniel Herrera was
2-3 at the plate and drove
in 2 runs. In the second game Kevin DeLeon
drove in LSU's only run.
La Sierra record is 1-9. Bethany's record
is 4-6.

La Sierra University captured their first
victory of the year
beating Cal Tech 23-3. Ken Curiel
struck out 10 and Scott
Reed drove in six runs to lead the Golden
Eagles (1-7).
LSU next game is Tuesday, February 26th
@ 12pm against
Bethany University at home. It will be a
doubleheader.

CA.- OFFENSIVE ONSLAUGHT
BY THE BULLDOGS SWEEPS TWO FROM LSU.......
The Golden Eagles (0-7) was beat Sunday
by the University of Redlands
18-1 and 7-4 in a doubleheader. The Bulldogs(3-1)
leftfielder, Kyle Rizzo led
the attack in the first game collecting
4 hits and 2 rbi's. Rick Wagoner
knocked in La Sierra only run.
In the second game, LSU displayed an inspired
competitive battle but a
4 run second inning and 3 more runs over
reminder of the game by the
Bulldogs held on to the lead.
La Sierra next game is Friday, February
15th in Pasadena against Cal Tech
at 2:30pm.

CA.- THE GOLDEN EAGLES LOSE
19-4 TO THE BULLDOGS........
LSU was defeated by University of Redlands
Friday afternoon.
Centerfieder Ken Curriel drove in 2 of the
4 runs that La Sierra
(0-5) had.
Matt Goldstein drove in 3 runs,scored 3
runs and went 3 for 4
at the plate to lead the University of Redlands
(1-1).
La Sierra next game is Sunday, February
10th @ 11am against
University of Redlands (doubleheader) at
LSU.

against LSU
18-4 and 8-5. In the first game, the Hawks
collected 20 hits against
LSU pitching. Third basemen, Scott Reed
led the Golden Eagles with
3 hits and 3 rbi 's.
In the 2nd game, Chris Pope drove in 2 runs
for La Sierra. SDCC
