University Worship Services

What is University Worship?

La Sierra University believes in the power of community and the gospel and wants to share the way of Jesus Christ as an irresistible way of life. As a Christian institution, we look forward to the chance to worship and share together during the week. This happens during University Worship, the weekly worship service required for all undergraduate students to attend. This is the time where the campus pauses for an hour and comes together in fellowship and community to be uplifted by music, prayer, and the message presented by our speakers.

What is Breakouts?

Breakouts are an alternative way of meeting for worship. It allows students to connect with other students, faculty, and staff on a much smaller, more personal level. The weeks that Worship is not held in the main church, students will meet with their Breakout group at various locations on campus.

When and Where?

Every Thursday at 11am University Worship is held the La Sierra University Church or at various locations throughout campus for Breakouts. See the calendar for exact dates and locations.
