Its that time again. University Worship for November
1, 2007 will be breakout worship. Please report to
your breakout groups this thursday.
Fire Victims Need Our Help

As everyone knows, there has been many fires burning
around Southern California. Many families have lost
their homes to the fires and many more have had to
evacuate. As a Christian University in Southern
California, we need to help those who are in need. We
are looking for those who can donate food and
clothing as well as those who can volunteer their
time to help those in need. Please email us your name
and phone number, as well as your email address along
with the times that you would be available to help
those effected by the fire. Email your information to

On October 25th we have guest speaker, Roy Ice,
chaplain of our sister-school Pacific Union College,
on campus to speak to us at University Worship.
Pastor Ice has been a teacher and a pastor for more
than fifteen years. Read more about him

Roy Ice's topic will be "Fulfilling the Law of Christ."

Tuesday, October 9, will mark the start of Spiritual
Emphasis Week at La Sierra University. Students are
to report to the La Sierra University Church at 11:00
AM on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. That would be
October 9, 10, and 11. Please arrive on time as we
have invited a special guest to speak. Our guest
speaker will be Ron Pollard. Read on to learn more
about our speaker.
Ron Pollard, native of New Orleans, Louisianna, is currently the pastor for the Philadelphian SDA church in Long Beach, Ca. as well as the Youth Coordinator of the Greater Los Angeles Region Youth Department. His fervent desire is to be a flesh-and- blood model demonstrating that “with Christ our future is brighter than out past.” Pollard is married to Lindsey and they have two children, Cidny and Cerron.

Red Books

Red Books is a play based on the books that Ellen
White wrote. PUC will be on performing this on campus
October 5th and 6th. There are three shows for you to
attend, and the Spiritual Life Network is encouraging
student attendance . The show times are as follow;
Friday at 8pm and Saturday at 4pm and 8pm. Students
get in free with their LSU ID card. Tickets cost $10
and can be purchased at the door.

University Worship Breakouts, October 4, 2007

Tomorrow is Thursday and it is time for this quarters
first Breakout worship service. Freshman have the
pleasure of meeting in the university church, and the
rest of the student body need to report to their
chosen breakout session. There are many options to
choose from so be sure to sign up to a Breakout
session just as if it was a class. See you there!
