English Testing         |        Math Testing

How do I know if I have to take a placement test?

All incoming La Sierra University students are required to take the math and English placement test before registering for classes, unless they have already completed College Algebra and/or College English with a grade of C or better.

The placement testing is given in our testing center here on campus. The tests will be part of the 2 day summer orientation for freshman. Please call 951-785-2499 to schedule your orientation during July or August. Transfer students please contact the director at 951-785-2453 or elowry@lasierra.edu to schedule an appointment.
