Summer Message from the Division Of Student Life

We are God’s vessels for pouring out his love, but if we are empty we will have nothing to offer others.”  -Terry Williams

Happy Summer!

I thought about you today, as I walked to the cafeteria in (95+ degree weather) and noticed how empty the campus felt without you.  I imagined some of you were probably still in bed, just waking up…catching up on your much needed sleep.  Some of you are probably hard at work earning money to make sure you can pay your balance and come back in the Fall.  What about those of you I see in Palmer Hall area…taking summer school…wow!  To all of you, no matter your location or story.  I pray you make enough room in your summer plans to enjoy your extended family, your real life-friends, eat home-cooked meals, catch up on your fun reading, and consequently allow your “God vessels” to return to us this Fall filled.  Just in case you’ve missed it…we miss you!

Be smart, be safe, and I hope to see you soon!
